Job Description

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for developing advanced software solutions for proprietary broadcast industry products with a focus on high concurrency, high performance, and database-intensive applications for interactive browser-based media clients to achieve outcome-based advertising revenue. Specific duties include: (1) leading analysis, evaluation, development design, definition, and testing of advanced digital advertising management and related software products, systems, and architecture utilizing advanced software and object-oriented programming; (2) modifying software products and systems to meet client specific product and system specifications; (3) documenting and demonstrating software solutions; (4) overseeing entire product development lifecycle; and (5) performing related duties involving application design and implementation.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

B.S. degree in Computer Science or closely related discipline

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

B.S. degree in Computer Science or closely related discipline; five years of experience as software developer; specific experience with relational databases and high concurrency, high performance, high availability, multi-tiered, multi-threaded SAAS software applications; background in object oriented design, Java, ExtJs, SQL, REST API, Spring and Hibernate frameworks, multi-tenant SAAS software applications, horizontal and vertical scaling, and SQL query tuning for performance improvement.
