Job Description

The Enterprise Sales Executive is responsible for selling Operative’s array of SaaS platforms directly to Media companies within the Digital and Linear-TV categories. We are looking for a dynamic seller who is client focused with a strong background in ROI-driven solution-selling. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated a track record of achievement in meeting and exceeding quarterly / annual ARR and NRR targets selling complex solutions to executive decision-makers

Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned targets
  • Identify, qualify and cultivate sales opportunities
  • Present proposals manage negotiations and close sales
  • Understand customer needs, expectations and decision-making process
  • Build and maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts
  • Awareness of competitive landscape within prospective customers, and build a strategy to compete, enhance or replace the competitor
  • Develop existing opportunities against named accounts / geography
  • Leverage existing relationships, team with Marketing and leverage company relationships to cultivate new leads and grow revenue pipeline
  • Develop solid, strategic relationships with key decision makers at targeted accounts
  • Present client-specific, ROI-driven solutions based upon data acquired through research & discovery
  • Effectively manage pipeline multiple with a keen focus on driving bookings and revenue to plan

Skills and Experience

Required Skills

  • Someone with 10+ yrs. software and solution selling experience, including licenses and professional services
  • A consistent track record of goal attainment and overachievement in your geography
  • A fundamental desire and competitiveness to succeed
  • In-depth knowledge of Media Operations, Enterprise AdTech, Digital and / or Linear-TV Ad Operations and the technology components by which they’re supported is preferred, not required
  • Experience with a focus on WFM, CRM or ERP preferred
  • Experience and success pitching to senior-level management, including C-level executives
  • Significant experience negotiating and closing sales in consultative and complex sales cycles
  • Experience with business application sales in a complex selling environment selling directly and through strategic partners
  • The keen ability to link client business needs and reframe the way the client views their business
  • Proven ability to build a strategic and concise territory plan and execute according to plan
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, creative thinker with an appreciation of corporate goals
  • An exceptional communicator- someone who is articulate, confident, self-aware and personable
  • Salesforce.com experience is ideal
  • A road warrior! Travel is required
  • Someone who is competitive with a desire to out-perform colleagues and surpass targets
