SintecMedia is pleased to announce the release of version 18.02 of Medea, the industry standard in Affiliate Revenue Management. The world’s best known media networks use Medea to ensure they are being paid correctly for their content and to streamline the universe of operational activities that surround this crucial aspect of their business.
This latest release of Medea focuses on expanding support for multi-national operations and on continuing .NET architectural enhancements as part of our commitment to evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of the market.
“We’re thrilled to partner with our customers who continue to help us lead the way in providing the leading solution for affiliate management. With their combined input and our visibility across the industry, we’re able to stay on the forefront of what the networks need to be successful in this rapidly changing environment,” says Eric Levitan, Chief Operating Officer.
Key enhancements of Medea 18.02 include:
– Support for localized user interface – Medea’s user interface now allows the user to change on-screen terminology and labels to fit that of their business, including supporting multiple languages.
– Expanded support for multiple currency transactions – Medea mimics the typical operations of multi-national companies by allowing users to bill, apply cash and book in different currencies for a given transaction, including accounting for currency gains and losses. Users can manage their business in 3 different currencies – a base currency, a deal currency and a local currency.
– Next Generation Invoice Generator – As the architectural ‘heart’ of Medea responsible for performing detailed invoice calculations given complex contractual terms and large volumes of input data, Medea’s invoice generator will be fully migrated to .NET over the next several releases, increasing Medea’s efficiency and scalability per a given hardware footprint. This work is part of an ongoing suite-wide.NET migration that already counts our Authorization Module and full selection of workflow products as resounding successes.
Many of the features in release 18.02 were sourced from Innovation Workshops held with our customers to surface needs and drive future development. Innovation Workshops focus on emerging trends in affiliate revenue management. Upcoming Innovation Workshops will gather the industry to focus on Signal Management, Key Performance Indicators/Dashboard Reporting and TV Everywhere.
