Today, NAB Show and Operative are announcing several important new initiatives with major TV media companies in the US. NAB Show has answered the call of its colleagues and will have a digital event within their larger annual event this year. In addition to the event, we are forming a board of directors to focus on the steps that need to be taken on the cusp of TV and digital advertising convergence. The event will take place in Las Vegas on April 20 from 9am – 1pm and is titled NAB Show Digital Summit. It will focus on the growth of advanced TV channels and will provide a forum for media companies to explore the most profitable path forward into a converged TV and digital advertising market. We’ve already got a great group of attendees helping with the event, including Bernard Gershon of GershonMedia as well as senior executives from companies including Comcast, Turner, NBC, CBS and Cox.
