First NAB Digital Event – Build a Common Language for TV and Digital

Last week, I was in Las Vegas, chairing the first ever NAB Digital event. More than 80 people came from the leading television media companies to discuss the convergence of TV and digital media. The theme that permeated nearly every conversation was the increasing role of data, and the urgent need for standards as TV companies move into a more addressable, fragmented digital market. Data is part of the conversation in TV Up Fronts now, and providing advertisers with a competitive product was on everyone’s mind.
