As Chief Technology Officer, Vedant Sampath leads Operative's overall technology direction and drives the company's rapid growth and industry leadership.

Vedant has over 20 years' experience in the software industry. Prior to Operative, Vedant served as Vice President of Software Development at Oracle, where he led the team responsible for its market-leading Financial Consolidation and Statutory Reporting products. Prior to this position, he served as Vice President of Product Management, leading product management teams responsible for Hyperion Solutions' (acquired by Oracle) Business Intelligence and Financial Performance Management products. Vedant was part of the management team at Hyperion that turned around and positioned the company as the industry-leading business performance management software provider. Vedant's experience also includes development and product management roles at Platinum Technology (acquired by CA), Claris Software (part of Apple) and Energyline Systems. Additionally, he was a founder of technology startup Livebinder.com.

Vedant earned a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of California in Berkley, California and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University College of Engineering in Bangalore, India.
