John Briar

VP, Global Ad Operations

Since 2000, John has spearheaded the growth and cultivation of global ad operations personnel for Operative.  His knowledge of digital operations coupled with the determination to streamline internal processes and implement lean, six sigma practices have propelled Operative Managed Services as the leading technical and consultative ad operations group in the industry.  Handling more than 60,000 digital transactions per month, John continues to challenge himself and inspires team members to innovate by creating disruptive business practices that help media companies to scale and operate more efficiently.  During his time at Operative, John has assumed various roles including Director of Account Management and Client Services.  His drive to provide excellent customer service adds tremendous value to Operative’s clients.

Prior to Operative, John spent two years as the Regional Supervisor of West Coast Operations for Beyond Interactive (now MediaCom), leading strategic planning and buying agency network.  John has a degree in Computer Information Systems from Eastern Michigan University.
