Benjamin brings 14 years of media leadership to the Sales and Marketing team at Operative. As VP of Account Management, he is responsible for the success of clients ranging from early stage start-ups through Top-10 multi-media publishers and agencies. Working closely with strategic clients and the Product team, Benjamin has helped Account Management capture the “Voice of the Customer” to ensure an optimal customer experience and influence Operative’s innovation roadmap. Benjamin brings his technical background and deep knowledge of the media landscape to transform the Account Management team into a critical role at Operative.

Benjamin joined Operative from About.com where he most recently served as VP of Sales Operations. In this role, Benjamin oversaw Ad Operations and Client Service teams and was responsible for inventory forecasting, sales planning, campaign optimization, product development, and vendor management. Benjamin has also held related positions at Uproar.com and ARTNews Magazine.

An active member of the interactive ad industry, Benjamin is a frequent speaker at events held by the IAB, AdMonsters, and Digital Hollywood. Benjamin is a graduate of Boston University with a BA in English Literature.
